We simply do not have the time to stop at a salon every week to get a fresh manicure. Hell, we don't even have the time to shower everyday. But we do have time every two weeks to stop, take a breath and use the Lomasi Mani/Pedi Gel Manicure System ($85) we bought ourselves with some of our Christmas bonus. Since you have to use Lomasi gel nail polish with a UV light, we went ahead and bought the whole kit and caboodle which includes a base, color and top coat along with cuticle oil, the necessary curing light, files, buffers, cleansers and the special remover needed plus a step-by-step DVD to ensure you apply correctly. It may take a while to complete the whole process but, mind you, we are also taking this time to apply a caffeine facial and soak our feet in some hot bubbly water. Spa Sundays were never so productive.
