Essie Mint Candy Apple Nail Polish

We've enjoyed green nail polish for years, even when the tastemakers wanted nothing to do with it. We're faithful girls. But it's nice to see an old friend get some recognition, so we'd like to call out essie's Mint Candy Apple shade ($8) before the new hues come in and swamp green once again. This is a gentle, pale sort of sea green that's playful and strange, but not aggressive - just right for our nereid moods. And have we mentioned that those pastel-colored Easter mints are another treat we've always liked?
