Yves Saint Laurent Palette Metallic Colorama
One of us made recently the mistake of looking in the mirror at 5 p.m. Tired doesn't begin to describe the face she saw staring back at her. What she needed was a "lift." Not the kind she normally got from drinking a carafe of coffee, but the kind that made her look like she had been lit from within. It was Yves Saint Laurent Palette Metallic Colorama ($65) to the rescue, with its cashmere-like, satiny, lightly shimmering shade of pink champagne. It didn't make her look like she'd just slapped on some makeup and hoped for the best, but rather, like she'd found a soft place to curl up for a nap and was much more rested.
