We love lip & cheek stains for their staying power, but the color can be too intense for everyday wear and the color sometimes sets before we're finished blending it in. TheBalm's Stainiac ($15) is the perfect compromise; this sheer water-based formula is designed to take just a little while longer to dry, so you have time to adjust your look with fingertips or a blending sponge. The tint is buildable, too, and the three shades (Beauty Queen - berry pink, Prom Queen - rosy pink, and Homecoming Queen - soft peach) are sheer and just a little shimmery. Final take? TheBalm Stainiac + powder + mascara = the "I just rolled out of bed looking gorgeous, thank you" look.
