If you've ever spent twenty minutes working on a seriously involved eye makeup look, only to realize half of it ended up underneath your eyes and makes you look like you've gone ten rounds with the champ, then Sephora Shadow Shields ($16 for 30) are your new best friend. A light adhesive backing ensures they won't fall off while you're applying eye makeup, and the excess shadow will stick to the cotton topside of the pad. They're a little pricey, so best saved for special occasions, but totally worth the investment.
