Saint Germain Paris Makeup Lipstick

Yay, a new makeup company! We love talking about a new girl in the neighborhood and today we're welcoming Saint Germain Paris Makeup to the party. Super affordable (we're talking dirt cheap) and yet comparable to more expensive brands, Saint Germain is quite possibly our new favorite budget brand. We were first struck by the packaging. Since we didn't know the cost of the product (see below; it was a sample sent to us), we honestly thought it was a new high end brand we had just never heard of based solely on the sleek, black exterior. And then we tried it and were instantly convinced that the Lipstick ($3) must have cost at least $15 due to its smooth application and highly pigmented color. It far surpassed most drugstore brands we've tried in the past. Plus, if you look closely, there are actual sparkles in the lipstick that shimmer on your lips! We were especially impressed with the little pot of matte lip color tucked right on the bottom of the tube; a perfect little pop of color when you need a quick retouch. The color lasted for quite some time but came off nicely in the shower with our usual face wash. To top it off, it smells lovely. At first we thought maybe it was roses but the more we revisit it, the more it smells like hibiscus flowers. We're not saying that we're breaking up with e.l.f. over Saint Germain, but we are inviting her in for a ménage à trois.

Full disclosure: Outblush received a free sample of this product.
