We admit that we sometimes skip the SPF layer of our beauty routine during the winter months. Something about twenty-degree temperatures and the improbability of sunburn. But we do adhere to the sunscreen rule during spring and summer without question. Paul & Joe Beaute Moisturizing Foundation Primer N SPF 15 ($35) starts by creating a flawless platform for foundation by covering up tiny imperfections and imparting a light, healthy glow. Then it keeps you protected all day from the sun's damaging UV rays. Those with oily skin, pass on this primer and try their Protective Dual Powder Foundation instead.

I would hope people wear broad-spectrum SPF to protect against radiation, which is still present in winter months, rather than just avoiding sunburns (however gross those are). UVA never hibernates!
