Nvey Eco Organic Mascara
Organic laundry soap, milk, fruit… and mascara? We admit to being skeptical when we first heard about Nvey Eco Organic Mascara, ($24) but one swipe onto our lashes and we were converted. Not only does it lengthen, define, and darken lashes as a good mascara should, but this certified 100% organic stuff strengthens and conditions with nettle, vitamin B5, and horsetail herb extract. Never thought we’d say it, but this mascara smells yum-o, (has anyone else ever noticed the smell of eye cosmetics?) since it contains lavender, thyme, rosemary, and cinnamon. We’re okay with our eyes smelling a bit like potpourri if the results are this good. “Organic” has become mostly a marketing tagline, so it’s a refreshing change of pace to find a company that really lives up to the claim, and we fully intend to do some experimenting with the rest of their cosmetics line...
