We have tried lip plumpers before in search of that glorious Lisa Rinna trout pout only to find that our lips caught fire with excruciating pain with every heart beat. Chantecaille Lip Chic ($30) is a plumping lipstick without the debilitating side effects which is a good thing. What good is a pretty mouth if you can't use it...for talking and other wholesome stuff.

Right on! I'm in love with this stuff. It's absolutely the best lip product I've ever used. Part gloss, part lipstick, but it goes on smooth and light and stays for a while. My favorite shade is Dahlia.
