Sure, beachy waves are great during the summer. But they aren't for every occasion. For the times when your hair has to be more business-casual, heat up the Remington Ionic Protective Hot Roller Set ($27). It won't curl long or thick hair very well, but it gives fine or limp locks a bit of volume and pizazz. The ionic conditioning reduces the crazy frizz and static that come with hot weather, and the wax core keeps the curlers hotter longer. We're bringing these with us to the next set of conferences we have to attend in the hopes that our professional hair will remind us to be a bit more professional. Apparently showing up drunk to the first round of meet-and-greets isn't "industry standard". Our bad.
