We suspect that these days, it's all about custom MP3 playlists, so we'll just tell you that's the same - only it's not, 'cause it so doesn't take the same dedication to sit by a double-tape boombox for hours, patiently rewinding and recording, and re-recording, hoping that your efforts are worth it... Okay, shutting up now. We'll just assume you know what a mix tape is. The name of TokyoMilk I Made You A Mix Tape Petit Parfum Solide ($18) is kind of random, but the perfume itself is a straightforward woodsy floral. Notes of lily, balsam musk, rose, and osmanthus make for an old-fashioned feel that's quite welcome, what with so many of today's scents referencing "black leather" and "steamy nights" and whatnot.
