Our first impulse with this one is to go into Muppet advertising agency territory: "It's just like taking an ocean cruise, only there's no boat, and you don't actually go anywhere!"
Sure, it's more a summery fragrance than a wintery one, but sometimes you just need a little stress relief, and that's where Escada (sometimes sold as Escada Signature, avoiding the pointless ambiguity caused by their having released multiple scents just called Escada) figures in. It's a blend of white florals, topped off with a little orange, cucumber, and black currant to keep things interesting, brushed with a pleasant marine breeze (which would sound silly except that it really does smell like that) on top of a warm, slightly musky base. It's very grown up and you can wear it anywhere and it's quite pretty.
And while everyone else at work thinks you're poised and dignified and adult, you can take a quick whiff of your wrist and fantasize that you're on a perfect Caribbean vacation, doing absolutely nothing useful, far away from everyone else at work. Snag yourself the big gift set ($63, including eau de parfum, lotion, and shower gel) before the holiday tension really kicks in.
