Demeter My Melody Cologne Spray
We find Demeter Fragrance Library utterly diverting, even if we have quirked an eyebrow or two at some of their more mischievous concoctions. And since their bag is to perfectly recreate real-world scents, we were more than a little curious about their partnership with, of all companies, Sanrio. The first three entries in a line of "signature scents" for some of the knickknack titan's beloved mascots include Hello Kitty (an apple scent, points to anyone who can immediately say why), Little Twin Stars (a citrus blend) and My Melody. The Little Red Riding Bunny is represented with a sweet vanilla and almond concotion ($20 for one ounce) that is, in fact, fantastic as a layering scent. And it's not just a natural for punching up gourmand scents - we tried it with a rich, superdignified floral and it worked like a charm.
We can't wait for Kuromi.
