It's a week later and you're still craving Will and Kate? Welcome to The Pimm's Cup - it's easy, it's delicious, it's about as close to a Royal Wedding nod as this Outblusher can go; because the Brits - they love this concoction!
James Pimm, a London oyster bar owner, invented this delightful liquer in the 1840s to help aid digestion. This gin based spirit, with a dark reddish tint, has tastes of spice and citrus that shine through.
There are tons of Pimm's Cup recipes out there, this is just the one I happen to adore!
Ingredients:
2 ounces Pimm's No. 1
Sliced cucumber
Sliced strawberries
Mint sprigs
Ginger Ale
Directions:
Pour Pimm's into a Collins glass filled with ice. Add cucumbers, strawberries and mint. Top with Ginger Ale, and enjoy!
