Your hands say a lot about your personality, and clean, well-manicured nails are a must — but that doesn't mean they have to be boring.
And we have Eunkyung Park, the founder of Unistella Salon in Seoul, South Korea, to thank for the latest nail trend taking the world by storm: wire nail art.
Park already proved that she was a trendsetter after creating an Instagram frenzy with her shattered glass and diamond nail designs, but she's back with more, and this one may be our favorite.

The wire nail art is texturally interesting and chic, yet perfect for those who love minimalism because the design isn't loud and in your face. Instead, Park cleverly uses thin gold wire to sculpt 3D designs on bare nails (a perfect combination of simplicity and modernity).

Speaking to Marie Claire about the inspiration behind the look, Park said: "When you make neon signs, you have to bend the wires to make certain lettering. It's one long wire that's bent to create and connect the letters. I thought this was really cool and since nails are an accessory, I wanted it to be used for expression. Like rings."

It may seem like a lot of effort to get the perfect manicure but it's intriguing and the payoff is definitely worth the time it takes to replicate the look. Instead of going all out and attempting to recreate Park's Picasso-inspired abstract faces, start small and attempt wire squiggles, her cuticle accents, or even a thin piece of wire diagonally across the bare nail (which will still have an impact, but requires a fraction of the skill level). Also treat this look with caution, because if that wire is not filed down properly it could result in snags on your clothes!
