You can finally become your favorite heroine and transform (or at least dress like her) into Beauty and the Beast's Belle, thanks to Disney and Uniqlo.
The animation giant and the Japan-based clothing retailer have teamed up for a new Beauty and the Beast focused collaboration, an extension of their Magic For All project. The project sees Uniqlo work closely with Disney, Marvel, and Pixar to produce garments adorned with some of our favorite childhood characters and, according to the retailer, "deliver dreams and surprises around the world through clothes."
As for the current collection, it was launched on March 13th ahead of the release of the highly anticipated live-action adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast" starring Emma Watson and Dan Stevens.
So, what can you expect?
We're sorry to report that there are no ballgowns on sale, as this line is a rather more casual interpretation of Belle's outfits. Some of the standout pieces include a provincial style blouse, a tunic, a long shirt and a range of T-shirts with images and slogans from the animated film. These include pictures of Mrs. Potts, Chip, and Klokk Worth, as well as slogans such as "be our guest" and "open your heart to new adventures."
According to Who What Wear, fashion lovers and Disney fans can pick from 17 items for women and eight items for girls, from a collection which the retailer describes as "a modern, relaxed bohemian style and casual items with a light, feminine silhouette." They are also incredibly affordable with prices ranging from $9.90 for a girls tee to $29.90 for a ladies blouse.
Head to and select Uniqlo stores in New York and Chicago, to pick up your Beauty and the Beast inspired garments.
